Q3 IT Nation 2025: Insights, Networking, and the Future of IT Security
This week, we attended IT Nation 2025 in Manchester. As always, it’s been an insightful and valuable experience - full of learning, sharing, and networking with some of the leading names in the IT industry.
Highlights for me:
🔹 Listening to Adam Spencer, an Australian mathematician, who delivered an eye-opening session on AI. With humour and sharp insight, he explored the risks of AI and its impact on business security.
🔹 A thought-provoking panel on the dangers of AI featuring experts including Leigh Cockell. We’re especially fortunate that Leigh will also be the keynote speaker at our very own Cyber Security Event in Garstang this November.
🔹 Countless key takeaways that we’ll be bringing back to the office to spark discussions, refine strategies, and implement new solutions - because delivering the best cyber security and IT services is what we’re all about.
It was also special to share this as the 2-212 group’s last session together. I have been part of this peer group over five quarters, formed with forward-thinking and ambitious leaders of IT companies similar to AMP InfoSys. A big shout-out to Luke Mead for being a brilliant facilitator.Â
Events like these remind me why our industry thrives: collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to raising the bar.Â
